Dark Jesters - one of my favourite costumes for the Venice Carnevale this year.
They can be completely chaotic characters with destructive tendencies and have a mean streak that comes out. They often struggle with physical and emotional intimacy because they can use their humor as a way to deflect from that depth.
Tellarini Valentina is an Italian veteran costumer and makeup artist at the Venice Carnevale.
Her outfits and makeup are all very different from other costumers and all very beautiful.
This is one of her best creations, done together with her husband Rivera.
